Growing up, I, Iman, never saw Trinidadian culture represented in grocery stores, and frankly, I hated every other hot sauce on the market. That is, until one day when my grandmother made her pepper sauce, and I fell in love. Shortly after learning grandma's recipe, I had the idea to start my own company to share this unique and delicious product with the world.

Our products at We Are Wonderfully Made (WAWM) are truly special. Our sauces are made with fresh fruits, peppers, and vegetables, resulting in a robust flavor profile that pairs perfectly with the heat of the peppers. We use only clean, all-natural ingredients, honoring the rich culinary traditions of Trinidad and Tobago.

As the CEO and co-founder, I, Iman, learned how to make our original Trini sauce from my Grandma Barbara. She taught me how to make various dishes from our homeland, and I wanted to share them with everyone. Sadly, Grandma passed away in 2022, but her legacy lives on through our products. In fact, the front of each WAWM sauce bottle features a real photograph of Grandma's hands that I took while we were making the sauce together.

My co-founder, Ryan, a veteran, serves as our COO. Together, we are driven to not only share the flavors of our Trinidadian roots but also to give back to our community. After the loss of our son Andreas, we became dedicated to funding research and providing resources to families to help prevent child loss. A portion of every WAWM purchase goes to The Andreas Foundation.
